elISA Button

ElISAButton is a plug-in for MS Internet Explorer that can be easily installed and used to extract layout and content information from a web page. See ElISA home page for more information. Download and install the elISAbutton.msi installer, restart your browser and the installation is complete.

IsaWiki server

IsaWiki is a distributed editing environment for registered users, that allows users to easily create new web pages and, above all, to customize any web document, regardless of its permissions and location. More details (in english) about this project can be found at IsaWiki#paper. Here you can download the IsaWiki server: unzip this file and copy the PHP scripts onto the Apache web server. The file INSTALL.TXT contains installation instructions (in italian).

IsaWiki client for MS Internet Explorer

The IsaWiki client is a plug-in, or better a sidebar, for Internet EXplorer able to monitor the user navigation and communicate with the server. Here you can download the IsaWiki client for Internet Explorer: download and install sidebarIsaWiki2.msi (maybe you need to restart windows).

Note: by now, you have to manually modify the file <installation_dir>/sISAWiki/config.xml, setting the address of your IsaWiki server.

Warning: the IsaWiki client does not run correctly when the Service Pack 2 is installed on your Windows OS.
